Autumn Metanoia Community Trip

JOURNEY: 4 DAY PRAYER RETREAT IN THE NORTH WOODS (NH)

THEME: LEARNING TO SEE | THE GOD OF LITTLE THINGS

On this retreat, we will look and listen for the infinite in the infinitesimal. With the natural landscape and saints such as Saint Julian of Norwich, Saint Therese of Lisieux, and Saint Francis of Assisi as our guides, we will seek to learn the little way of God.

Metanoia Community Trips are an extension of our (Mark and Lisa's) personal calling to prayer and transformation of heart. Therefore, this trip is not a facilitated program, but a journey of prayer in which we welcome friends and fellow pilgrims to join us in the same rhythm of prayer, silence, simplicity, and travel across the landscape that we ourselves will be taking. We handle the logistics and create space for daily prayer. Beyond this, our intention is simply to be open to the presence of the Living God at work in the mystery of creation, along with whoever is with us on the trip.

If you are drawn to this type of trip, please drop us a line. We'd love to have you!

This trip will be a cabin-based trip in the Dartmouth College Grant in northern New Hampshire.  We will meet in Post Mills, VT on Thursday evening and return to the Upper Valley on Monday afternoon.

Cost:* Equally divided between all travelers (ourselves included)

*It still costs some money to go on a wilderness trip. If expenses would keep you from coming, please contact us. We have funds available for just his purpose!
